Cabins on Priest Lake

Experience on of our cabins on Priest Lake and fall in love with Elkins Resort just as many others have! See below for what our previous guests have said.

Our party of 10 stopped by the restaurant after a day boating the upper lake. The afternoon menu offered something for everyone from salads, burgers, fish & chips and huckleberry drinks. The kid's menu and souvenir frisbee was a hit. Very friendly and attentive service. Beautiful Priest Lake views. We're coming back soon!

5 star ratingAn annual late summer tradition Location, location, location. We've been visiting Priest Lake for decades, and for a time spet a week each summer in our tent trailer at the adjacent Forest Service Reeder Bay campground. Elkins was a destihnation for ice cream bars from the little store and an occasional lunch in the restaurant. Then we got older, as did our granddaughter camping partner, we sold the trailer, and missed our visits to the lake. Several years ago we decided to go for broke and rent a cabin at Elkins, not an inexpensive proposition. But we thought it was worth it and lengthened our stays from a few days to a week...now the last full week of August. Our home away from home has become Cabin 8, perfect for the two of us with its wood burning fireplace, king bed, and location alongside the rushing Reeder Creek. No lake view though; instead we have the soothing sound of the water cascading over the rocks down toward the bay. And a deck that overlooks the creek, complete with picnic table, chairs, and a gas grill. A couple of times we rented watercraft available at the marina, kayaks and paddleboards. We've sat on the lodge lawn in red Adirondack chairs sipping chilled drinks and snacking on appetizers. And we've had dinner at the restaurant. Over the years we've had a few back experiences with the restaurant and the adjacent bar but all in all the food and service is good to excellent though not always the latter.

The few times we've had a maintenance or housekeeping issue the staff promptly took care of it, were friendly, and campetant.

We just returned from this year's stay, and next year's reservation is made. More

Very cool spot, stayed just for just 2 nights and wished we had time to stay longer. We stayed in February and had blue skies and beautiful snow. Cabin was very comfortable and clean, restaurant was awesome with beautiful views and lots of fun walking spots. Took our snowmobiles right from the cabin on the many trails around the area.

Me and my wife had an extravagant evening when we came here for dinner. We started with the blackened prawns (which were to die for) and I got the potato gnocchi which was great too. To top it all off we had a great server named Kailee. She was super helpful and made our meal even more pleasant. Nice job! Great food, great people. Will be coming back soon!

What’s not to love. Beautiful country, relaxing environment and good food. Huckleberry daiquiri was delicious 🤤 A little pricey in my but ever resort does that. We had our dog and they brought out a bowl with not only water but ice cubes since it was a little hot. Great place for visitors and folks come up from CDA area. Will definitely be back.

No matter what season you visit, the views and grounds are spectacular! The staff are phenomenal and treat you like royalty and at the same time like family! The cabins are amazing, we’ve stayed in many different ones and it’s always perfect! The restaurant and bar are beyond incredible, the food is five-star perfection and the drinks are made with love and expert craftsmanship!

Our experience at Elkins Resort was everything we hoped it would be and more! They thought of all the little details, and the accommodations were perfect- clean, updated, and everything in working order. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and very nice. The entire property is so beautiful, and they did a great job decorating for the Holidays to make it even more welcoming. We’ll be back for sure!

What a fun spot for a wedding, family reunion, or romantic weekend. The location is perfect. The lake is pristine and the abundance of Adirondack chairs at the water’s edge beckons a nice long sit. The bar is quaint and the service was excellent.

My husband and I just spent 4 days at Elkins Resort. This is our 4th staying here. We stayed in Cabin #3 with a wood-burning fireplace. The cabin was so nice and roomy, great bed, shower, nice kitchen. We snowshoed at Hannah Flats and also at Priest Lame Golf course, perfect and beautiful, quiet. We also walked at sunset on the lakeside of the resort, also beautiful. There was a lot of snow everywhere and extremely gorgeous. Thank You, Elkins Resort for a nice stay. We were here during the week when the restaurant is closed in winter.

We got married there in early May! The venue and particularly the staff were fantastic. The staff was on point, helpful, motivated, and self-starters. The venue itself was delightful, we had the ceremony outside overlooking priest lake and the snow-capped Selkirk mountains. The catering was delicious for the reception dinner, the rehearsal dinner, breakfast, and lunch. If you haven’t visited Priest Lake, make Elkins your home base to explore. I can’t recommend it enough.
